About SiQEW2025
Since its inception in 2007, SiQEW has been a showcase for state-of-the-art research in semiconductor qubits. The 2025 workshop (SiQEW2025) is organized by HRL Laboratories and UCLA and hosted at the beautiful Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes (part of greater Los Angeles).
Both oral and poster sessions will open for abstract submission in spring 2025. In keeping with the tradition of the workshop, we especially encourage young researchers (students and post-docs) to submit abstracts and deliver presentations. We will select as many abstracts as possible for oral presentations and the remainder of accepted abstracts will be given as posters. There will be no invited speakers.
Terranea is an all-inclusive destination with conference facilities, restaurants, lodging, and entertainment. We have reserved a block of rooms at Terranea for the workshop. International travel should go through Los Angeles International airport (LAX). Check this website for details about registration, lodging reservation, travel, and the workshop schedule.

Steps for Attendance
Early-bird registration is $750 until August 1. After that price goes up!
Attending ICOSS
The International Conference on Spin Shuttling (ICOSS) will take place the day after SiQEW at the same venue. Participants attending both meetings must register and book lodging for the events separately. ICOSS and SiQEW share a common abstract submission system.
